What to Study for Exam 2

You may bring notes written on an 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper (you may use both sides). You may bring a dumb calculator.

For the exam you will be given a SkewT chart, and asked to identify and to calculate various things using the chart.

The questions will be similar to those in Homeworks #5, 6, and 7.

You will need to know the material in the lecture notes titled "Hydrostatic and Hypsometric Equations", "Adiabatic Processes and Moisture", and "SkewT Examples". You should review related materials in Chapters 2 and 3 of Vasquez and Chapter 3 of Wallace and Hobbs.
